OLD ZOO NATURE TRAILS

Free to the public, open everyday of the year. 100 year old abandoned Zoo turned into nature trails. Also on the property is the old abandoned Cisco Dam Pool. At one time it was the world’s largest concrete swimming pool. Tons of history, ruins and beauty. Who knows you might find some ruins that haven’t been uncovered since the early 1900’s.

LAKE LEON

 Lake Leon is a 28,000 acre-foot lake with great fishing, located seven miles southeast of Eastland. Lake Leon offers some of the area's best bass fishing. It is most commonly known for its largemouth bass fishing tournaments, the reservoir also supports excellent populations of channel catfish, sunfish, and white bass. There are two public boat ramps with camping areas.
